BPS Synthetic Stock

I was reading David Miller's Illustrated Guns reference which states the BPS has a synthetic stock. Is this statement true? I am not talking about the camp versions.

  any book may be correct when it is written and then sold but now outdated[:(] However this SITE is in real time and you have the chance to search on all BPS shotguns currently listed I suggest you search on Browning BPS and look at the pictures of each item as well as description. I suspect you will find both standard wood as well as ENGLISH style and more than likely even some SYNTHETIC stocked shot guns

  both my bps have plastic they have wood models too
