Belguim A-5 Mag YOM???

I have a Belguim magnum A-5 32 in pl bbl. Ser #858XX It has 6V above it next to forearm wood. Been looking at Browning website trying to find YOM. dAny help and clearification would be appreciated. Tanx

  Beginning with Serial Number 1 to approximately 228,000. Exact production figures are not available. Year of manufacture on Pre-World War II production is strictly a guess.

  I don't know if this would apply to your shotgun? For a short time in the 60's. The (3) 22 pistols made by F.N., for the U.S. market. Had a single number in their serial number. That represented their DOM.
  
  The only used this format between 1963 & 1969. To make a long story short. The "6" stamped near the serial number. Might reflect a DOM of 1966?

  The "6V" identifies it as a 1966 production Magnum grade Auto-5.
