Tang Sight Screws
The receiver tang on my 1907 Winchester is drilled & tapped #10-36. I don't have a peep rear sight. Marble's and other replacement screws don't work for me because they are plain slotted and stick out. I need the "plug" type with slotted top and am finding them impossible to locate. Any suggestions?

Not exactly sure what you need. I have made short plug screws by cutting the treaded part of a screw off and slotting the head after peening the top and dressing it. Heat or cold blue to match color as best you can.
I might have a 10-36 die.

If he doesn't have what you want, most times he'll make it for you, prices are reasonable too.0 -
Thanks, I've threaded screws & done some D & T - that might be the way to go. I have a dozen or so rifles with peep & globe set ups - that's a great site. 0
