Cetme 308 broken case

I have a cetme 308 sporter with a split case stuck in chamber does anyone know of an easy way to get it out without removing the barrel. Thanks for any wisdom you share.

  You can make one from a bolt by splitting it with a hacksaw and using your cleaning rod. Sometime a really tight patch will work.

  Added Good work. At the gun shop we had a few cases fired from a 270 that bubba had tapped the case. The necks were threaded. Pull the barrel and screw out the case.

  Yes that's what I would try first. Let some oil maybe penetrating oil but regular gun oil would work. Use a tight patch or wrap a patch around a brush and using an old cleaning rod get it just to the top of the case and rap it smartly with a hammer. Good luck.

  Got it. Tried patch and had a broken case extracter which neither worked. Used a tap that fit snug inside the case and then used a cleaning rod and knocked it out.
