GunBroker Sellers. How long do you wait?
How long do you wait after the auction end to write it off as a bad sale? I sold something on the 7th and buyer has yet to reply to my emails either through GB or email. Info including all pertinent addresses and Ffl address and info was sent 5 minutes after the auction and no reply.
I've sold on Gb before and had no issues. Had some payments come a little late but they always replied.
Thoughts?

You will need to work with the auction side people not over here.
Its a 3 day weekend and opening weekend to boot. Perhaps you could wait until Tuesday night and see if they respond.0 -
Just asking for in site because I know sellers also use this forum.
Thanks for the help.0 -
Every sale is different. Last time I was on the auction. The woman who won the Frommer Stop, got buyers remorse. She just didn't back out of the auction. She started sending me, poison pen e-mails. I guess she figured, that I wouldn't give her negative feedback. If she threatened me. Boy was she surprised. Got really indignant, when I dinged her.
On the other hand, 90% of my auctions have been positive. Got the money sent, without any BS.0 -
10 days then tar and feathers 0 -
I go 14 days, then report as non paying bidder. 0 -
A lot of folks out of power on the east coast right now with bigger issues on their minds. Many rivers not even going to crest until Friday. I'm in NC and have family on the coast that have not been allowed back to their house yet to even check for damage. I'd say minimum is 7 days but I go 10. 0 -
Use his telephone information to call him. I received a call one day from someone who won one of my auctions and told me that he emailed me three times and never got a reply. I never received them. In fact, I never received the email from GB that I sold the item. He was getting worried that I was having sellers remorse. 0 -
I'll try to call them today. I don't really want to wait more than the ten days for the payment. I'm selling stuff to help myself out because my family is in a financial bind.
I guess My main concern is the lack of response to the messages through GunBroker messaging service and a 3rd email directly to his supplied email.
My firearm is sitting at the ffl and he is also wondering when his receiving ffl is going to send his info.0 -
I went ahead and tried calling the buyer with the number he supplied to GunBroker.. Unfortunately it just rang until a message said the voicemail was full. I guess I'll try a few more times and then wait the 10 days and relist. Wish things would just work the way they should. 0
