    There are a number of similar videos on U Tube. Don't have a clue what causes it? But it's a interesting phenomena. Your probably going to have to get one of the Einstein's, from the GD forum. To explain it.

    POSSIBLE explanation- you are watching a diesel. The cavity expands greatly, drawing in air and smoke from the fired cartridge. As it sharply contracts, would compress air and smoke in that cavity. Fast compression equals heat. Heat, air and fuel equals flash/bang.
