I just picked one up in 20 ga for a "truck gun". I also have a four tenner insert I can use in it. I noticed that the barrel has a significant taper to it. My question being is the receiver size the same for all gauges and if it is would it be possible to have a 16 ga barrel fitted to this receiver? I saw a barrel online for a reasonable price and would like to add a 16 ga to my collection just because. If possible this seems like a solution for having a gun that would only be shot occasionally. I would still want to be able to use both barrels.

  Yes you can put another barrel on that receiver.I've done it a lot.There's a chance the barrel will fit right on but most likely will need to be properly fitted to the receiver though
