Remington 1100/11-87 Forearm

Can anyone tell me if a newer Remington 1100 20 ga forearm will fit the 11-87 Premier Light Contour? Thanks

  It is highly unlikely.
  
  There is no guarantee that a forearm from one Remington 1100 will fit on another 1100 of the same gauge. Remington has had a program to redesign shotgun parts for several years, & changes are not documented.
