If it only fails to extract after firing? Not when cycling unfired ammo. I would suspect that the chamber needs polishing. This is a fairly common malady with .22's.
Cut a slit in a wooden dowel. It has to be long enough to reach the chamber with the bolt removed. Put a piece of Scotch Brite in the dowel. coat the Scotch Brite with Flitz polish. Chuck it in a electric drill. Polish the chamber until it's mirror brite. Hopefully this will help with your extraction problems.0 -
I think its going to take hands on to solve.
Try pushing the bolt forward before lifting the handle, you could tap it with a stick. I think there are burrs on the extractor hook(s) or it needs relieved ever so slightly so it/they can hop over the rim.
Try some hotter ammo (Stinger) and some standard velocity.
Try a different factory magazine,0 -
I would also look at the front lateral bend in the magazines.
They may interfere with the bolt and need a little rattail filing
for clearance.
Could the extractor be fouling on the magazine lips?0 -
sounds like crappy ammo to me, but I do recommend a brick break in period along with several good cleanings during that time, then after all that if you are having an issue it is to polish the chamber and ensure magazine fit and function along with inspecting extractors. 0
