Looks like a chamber insert for barrel, rifled bore 22 cal, threaded at the end about 4" long.

looks like the barrel assembly of a Walther P22, 0 -
I can't identify this one specifically? But have seen similar ones in the past. They function as manually operated repeaters.
This barrel is held in position, by a threaded nut at the muzzle. Dummy cartridges loaded with a 22 LR round. Are cycled through the mechanism, by just functioning the slide. The only difficulty is that the dummy cartridge, has to have some type of offset firing pin. So that the centerfire firing pin of the pistol. Is able to impact the priming compound, in the rim of the 22 LR cartridge.0 -
