Weaver grand slam ring hight med or high?

I have two Remington model 788 one in 308 left hand and a 7mm08 carbine. I plan on installing Weaver grand slam 1 piece mount on both of them. I do have a 3-9 x 42mm scope I plan on mounting on one of them. What rings would be right for this combination mediung rings or high rings?
