Remington 870 trigger group

Is the trigger group between the Remington 870 12 ga. and 20 ga. shotguns interchangeable. I would like to change my 20 ga. trigger to a police model but didn't know if it was possible. Thanks

  If you have an old standard frame, 20 on a 12 frame, they will fit. No Go on the newer guns.
