hi
i am putting a scope on a new rifle.a friend said to use high mounts.now i always mount my scopes as close to the barrel as i can get.always thought that would be more acurate.Listening to my friend i was curious if it matters?Thinking about triing it but it does not seem like it would be beneficial to me.woundering what othere people think. thanks for the time.

Call 1-800-LEUPOLD. 0 -
Might give the customer service folks at Brownells, a call. They always have been helpful, when I called. They have a extensive inventory of mounts and bases. Along with reference material, to tell you which specific ones are required. 0 -
I'd go with one of those long brass numbers. If I ever get one of those Quigley Sharps that's the way I'd go. 0 -
W92fan,
I personally avoid anything from Leupold because they are overpriced and under delivered.
