    No. At one time there was an exception for Postban rifles; those which complied with the 1994 Crime Bill, but that ended with the passage of the so called SAFE Act.

    Mark is absolutely correct. Some of the Siaga's that have a sporting rifle stock with no standard type pistol grip, bayonet lug, an no muzzle device are still legal, but no preban's. Let me rephrase that...it is not illegal for you to ship it here, because you have to ship it to an FFL. However, the state AG, and governor, might try to frivolously sue you for it. When in the end, the FFL it is shipped to, cannot lawfully transfer it to a NY state resident.
