  Oerlikon 20mm gun, most likely. Very common, used not only by our navy, but most other armed forces. From the 1940's until recent years.

  The 20mm was the smallest size round that would hold a decent HE charge. Pre 68 a friend had a 20mm Lahti. He would barter for 20mm Vulcan rounds and reload for his Lahti, yea those were the good old days.
