dreyse needle gun
I have just aquired a Dreyse M65 needle gun in about 80% condition but needs a butt plate.Can anyone tell me where to find a butt plate?Or the value of this gun?

Believe it would be Model 1862, rather than 1865. Very rare at this late date. After the Prussians adopted the single shot Mauser in 1871. They dumped all the early Needle gun models.
If in 80% and original? My WAG at least couple of thousand maybe more? To bad about the butt plate. But a original Needle gun is so rare, it wouldn't faze a collector.0 -
