Rossi 92 question

One Rossi 92 tune-up guru recommends cutting one coil from the ejector spring, and possibly smoothing the shaft, which is contoured, that the spring rides on. I shortened mine 1/2 coil (little bit at a time) and it seemed to help. Your mileage may vary!

Gunspring kits are available for the Rossi 92. They include: mainspring, ejector, lever tension and trigger springs. I have one in my 92, makes a world of difference in function, i.e. cycling the action, trigger pull.

3 ways to trim the length of coil springs. Really good nippers (cheap ones will not do it), cut off disk in a Dremel tool, and grinding it down on wheel.

    Starting at: $58.40

The Rossi 92 'Do It Yourself' (DIY) Action Job KIT includes everything you need to slick up your Rossi 92 to be Race-Ready smooth and fast.
***Works for the Rossi Ranch Hand, too.

Don't settle for a rough, slow, ammo jammin', case crushin' Rossi that will force you to lose match after match and ruin your otherwise reloadable brass. You need only a few readily available screwdriver tips, punches, some means to grind metal, a padded vice and this DVD to get you slicking your Rossi.

    INCLUDES:
    Rossi 92 DVD
    Spring
    Mag Follower

Thanks guys. Once I get back from taking the wife and kids to Alaska next month I'll check out the kit and let you know how it worked.

Steve does good work, after stoning and polishing my Rossi I bought a new follower and safety plug from steve.
I now have a slick little carbine.
