1894 pistol grip carbine value?
Has anyone ever seen a antique (1898) 1894 20" carbine with a pistol grip stock (Cody verified) 32/40. It is all original very nice wood. Receiver 20 percent barrel at 60 percent overall a 50 percent gun. Please help with a value

In answer to your question, Yes, I have seen several pistol gripped Carbines that are antique. You will need to post several clear pictures of your Model 1894 (or contact me via a PM, and email them to me) before I can provide a reasonably accurate value assessment. 0 -

Post pictures of the opposite side of the receiver, butt stock, forend, and the front half of the barrel.
Based on what I can see thus far, your stated condition estimate is too high.0 -
I would say the receiver has zero finish, and the barrel has about 50%. The butt stock, while, from what we can see looks like it is fitted properly , is suspect. Most carbines had a crescent butt plate, not shotgun style. Perhaps the pistol grip only comes with the shotgun?(Bert H?). The rear sight looks correct, and the tang sight is definitely period correct. 0
