Value S&W 52-2 engraved lettered
Recently acquired a 52 New in fancy S&W display case. Chambered for .38 Master Factory letter signed by Roy Jenks states mfg date in 1983 and delivered to S & W Sales department quote "5inch barrel, blue finish, custom engraved, and fancy grips". I am looking for a range of estimated values,,,,,,d.

we all would love to see some pictures. I sort of collect Vintage Bulls-EYE Pistols of course any factor engraving will add value over what is a desirable pistol even a plain one with no letter

Why would you not make the effort to post pictures? They are the most important thing in evaluating a gun!0 -
Bill, I will buy a new camera and learn how to post pictures on this site. Have seen many questions asking "how much is my gun worth" and realize that pictures are needed to determine condition. This is not as new, it is a new Model 52 Smith. not listed in a value guide, or Smith & Wesson books, and I hope quite collectible. I had hope that a S&W advanced collector was with your expert group or read this forum. 0 -
There is a S&W board but I doubt they will be able to add much without pictures of the gun and even the letter. 0 -
