Winchester 1886?

Looking in the blue book I do not see a separate catagory for antique
1898 and earlier as with the 1894. Is this the case?

  That is correct, but they also list different variations, and some of those were earlier vs. later time frame variations.

  The Blue Book is structured the way it is because the bulk of the Model 1886 production was in the antique (pre-1899) period, serial numbers 1 - 118646. The majority of the post-1898 production Model 1886s were the 33 WCF smokeless powder rifles.
