Hamilton Model 27 Rifle mainspring

Hello!
It looks like I'll have to make a mainspring for this rifle. Can someone tell me what the wire diameter is?

  I don't think wire diameter is critical, strong enough to work should be fine. Extra strong might beat up the parts. We have much better spring steel than they used.
