I need help identifying this barrel. It is a 26' .410 Remington barrel. On the left side it is marked "410 GA. FOR 3 IN. PLASTIC SHELLS ONLY". On the right side it is marked: "REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILLION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A." over: "PATENT NOS 2,645,873 - 2,675,638 - 2,719 - 375 - 3,200,710 - 3,201,886". Any info on Model & year of manufacture will be appreciated.

It's a cut-down military rifle barrel. Krags, Springfields and Enfields all used 10 square TPI. The O.D. of the threads, might narrow it down.

EITHER 1903 SPRINGFIELD OR 1917 ENFIELD DEPENDING ON O.D. OF THE THREADS

1.050 outside diameter of the threads.

Thanks v35. No Charlie, it has not been in a fire, just a lot of rust from poor storage. Will need polishing & bluing. Who manufactured the front sight? I have never seen one like it.

The sight is home made. I wouldn't be putting any money, into polishing and bluing the barrel. Sandblast it. This causes the pitting to blend in, and be disguised. Than put it on flea bay.

Thanks Rufe. I will either sandblast it or list as-is on GunBroker. I don't like Flea-Bay!
