I GOOGLED, "N frame grips". Came up with a maker, called Dan Eagle. Appears to be very similar to yours.

He has a website with a very extensive selection of grips. You might check him out, to see if they are the same.

They look nice. Top loads in a 25-5 are still on the mild side because the metal is really thin in the bolt notch. Sharp checkering makes my hand bleed with heavy recoil pistols.

In other words, they are "laser engraved" aftermarket grips.

Definitely after market. Possibly Altamonts, but I don't think so.

    I think you're wrong that you're wrong ....[:D]

I have a pair of Altamonts for the Anaconda, Smith K frame - the checkering pattern, two pins and the stylized lettering on the inside. I'm certain they're Altamont.

    But I didn't know Smith made a "Z" frame pistol. [:D]

The checkering pattern made me think they were Altamonts. But I went to their website and didn't see any "Z" frame grips with the medallions in them[;)]
