S&W grip ?, N frame
I Have a S&W 25-5 in .45 colt that came with this set of grips, when looking at other 25-5's they all have standard 'target' type grips. what are these then??

I GOOGLED, "N frame grips". Came up with a maker, called Dan Eagle. Appears to be very similar to yours.
He has a website with a very extensive selection of grips. You might check him out, to see if they are the same.0 -
They look nice. Top loads in a 25-5 are still on the mild side because the metal is really thin in the bolt notch. Sharp checkering makes my hand bleed with heavy recoil pistols. 0 -
In other words, they are "laser engraved" aftermarket grips.

Definitely after market. Possibly Altamonts, but I don't think so. 0 -

I think you're wrong that you're wrong ....[:D]
I have a pair of Altamonts for the Anaconda, Smith K frame - the checkering pattern, two pins and the stylized lettering on the inside. I'm certain they're Altamont.
But I didn't know Smith made a "Z" frame pistol. [:D]0 -

The checkering pattern made me think they were Altamonts. But I went to their website and didn't see any "Z" frame grips with the medallions in them[;)]0
