Probably is a Flobert, although I have a Pieper that looks almost identical.

Flobert possibly the first action I believe which is similar in loading and firing to a Remington rolling block but not anywhere as strong an action. They're are usually chambered in 22/6mm CB cap in which the primer propels the bullet.

I seem to recall seeing those thumbing thru a 1902 sears & roebuck catalog Sears recommended customers NOT buy them if that makes any sense!
