Are you talking about 8mm Lebel? Maybe if you have the correct berdan primers to put back in.
I like the wet method to de-prime berdan cases especially ones that were corrosive primed. Some might even date back to mercuric primers which will make the brass fail early.
google says 76 cents each for new boxer brass

Yes 8mm lebel. Wasnt sure if they were berdan primed as they dont have 3 dimples around like old mauser ammo. So I guess the answer is no? 0 -
Prvi Partisan makes new brass for 8 Lebel and it sure is cheaper and easier that making it from scarce 348.
Their brass is very thick and I have some I have loaded at least times and it is still good. Of course 8 Lebel pressures are low relative to the period rifles. 8 Lebel was the first smokeless.0 -
If you want to load 8mm LeBel, find yourself some .348 Winchester brass.
In Donnelly's THE HANDLOADERS'S MANUAL OF CARTRIDGE CONVERSIONS, he tells you how to do it with just two operations.
If you have any cartridge guns no longer loaded for, chances are it's in this book.0 -

added Thanks p3skying for the update. I read George's book back in the 70's. I have made obscure Ballard cases (my own technique) by turning the rim down to the extractor grove on 30-06 brass, threading the shank and screwing on large area extra thick copper or brass washers and soldering them together. Followed by a "corn meal" fire form. Those were the days. Lots easier to buy brass if you can.0 -

Wow, I paid like $80 for Donnelly's book back in the '80's. It's far superior to Nolte's book.0
