AR15 9mm

I have a AR15 Colt 9mm ,serial number TA110xx, bayonet lug,carbine. No forward assist.Can any one tell me when it was made? I was told 9mm's were numbered different than the 223's, Thanks, Hunter

  Sounds like a factory build.
  Check impression stamps upon the lower rec, report back here & post pics if possible.
  Then ...... maybe we could help.
