Update on Colt AR since last post was locked. Just found out from a Colt collector that it is in fact a very early SP2 A2 model manufactured before the forward assist and wind age adjustment were introduced. There is a plastic triangle shaped piece just in front of the round hand guard under front sight, this is where the triangle shape forearm would fit over on the SP1 model. This is a transition gun

Ref: your earlier post..the 'C H' stamping signifies a subcontractor to Colt by the Haines (or Haynes....not sure of the spelling) company. The C H makes it an authentic Colt.
Also, look for a little 'bell' symbol on the front sight. The symbol would make it absolute. Best, Joe0
