Colt 1903 Ivory grips - Colt experts
I have a set of Colt Ivory grips that are going on the auction side soon. Can any of the Colt experts tell me if these are factory Colt model 1903 Ivory grips? I have read that Ivory was a special order option. Any suggestions about the value of these grips? Obviously the left side panel is of no use as is, can it be repaired with an ivory synthetic maybe? Thanks for your help![:)]

Don't know anything about the grip. Nowadays selling any product(s) made out of Ivory, is kind of a dicey situation. Make sure you have all your ducks in a row, legality wise. Before putting them on the auction. 0 -
You have A grip, not grips. The damaged one can not be successfully repaired.
I don't believe they are factory made.0 -
the only thing worth any amount is one (1 ) grip and 2 medallions + the grip screw
put them out on the auction with 1 cent (penny)start and see what they bring
i would not worry about the ivory ban it is for 7 oz. or more in one piece0 -
