What if you removed the C-clip, pushed the pin in so that it was flush with the frame, retracted the slide so that the cut-out is over the tip of the disassembly lever and then rotated the lever so that it goes back into the correct location? Once that is done, push the pin back through the frame and then clip it.

My take down will go in the the same position as yours. Normal operation. My take down needs a little nudge from the other side, at times to make it rotate.

I have 2 of these. The one I have with the clip is a pain, took it down and filed off a bit on the back side of the lower part of the take down to clear the c -clip easier.

My barrel was tight too. Used a plastic mallet to no avail, finally after taking the take down out, just racking the slide about 20 times worked. Was real tight, not dirty jut made that way..

    Thanks folks.

Watched the video and tried the suggestions without luck.

It turns out if you have one with the take down in this position, you can drive it out from the other side. Problem solved.
