cut and pasted "These are actual sidelocks with a Greener-type crossbolt system. Fairly well done, although I believe the stocks are walnut-finished hardwood instead of actual walnut. The fit and finish could be a little better, but still better than the Baikal guns. Does have 2 3/4" chambers, chrome-lined bores and chambers, and fixed chokes.

The TOZ-63 was produced from the mid 1960's until (as far as I can tell) around 1980 but that is strictly a guess on the end year. Century Arms International imported a crap-load of them a few years ago.

Value today is $200-$250." Dec 2011

The only 16 gauge shotgun. That is in any kind of demand, or has any value on this side of the pond. Is the Browning Sweet 16.

Charlie has it pretty much nailed value wise. Even than, might take you a while to find a buyer.

Never could figure it. Owned a number of 16 gauges over the years. Good guns, nothing wrong with them. Just not popular with the folks in the US, for some reason?

    Gentlemen:
Thanks for your input. If I had a youngster to train for the dove field, I would keep this shotgun as I could see what state they had it in by merely looking. I would keep it for myself if it wasn't a hammer gun and had ejectors instead of extractors. It will find a new home a a gun show here in north-central Florida.
    Again Many Thanks: - AdamsQuailHunter
