How to ship a pistol to Canada?
Can a US citizen legally ship a pistol to a resident of Canada? If so, how can it be done?
My Uncle was given a pistol in the 1980's by a family member here in the US. He wants the daughter of the man who gave the pistol to him to have the pistol now. How can he legally transfer or ship the pistol to her in Canada? Thanks for your help.

you have to ship to a USA FFL LIC. DEALER that also has an import export LIC.and he ships to Canada dealer it will not be cheap. any thing else could result in Jail time on your end or her end or both . 0 -
At one time Simpson handled both exportation and importation of guns. Don't know if they still do it? Contact them at this link.

That said. Canadian handgun regs, are much more stringent than the ones in most U.S. States. It might not be abled, to be shipped to Canada?0 -

Barrel length is restricted in Canada....Short is a NO-NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
