Depending on details and features, it is either a TCR 83 or a TCR Hunter. Made from 1983 til 1997.

    Thanks much

Actually the earlier model had double set triggers, and was called the "TCR 83 Aristocrat".

I had the later simplified model. It dropped the grandiose name, and the double set triggers.

For some bizarre long forgotten reason, I got a 7mm mag barrel for it. Happy as a pig in you know what. Until I shot it one time, after mounting a Bushnell Command Post scope on it. Needless to say the 160 grain 7mm Mag, ate the Bushnell Scope. It totaled the internals so bad. That the scope rattled like a can of beans. When I through it in the garbage can.

As rufe says, the first was the TCR 83, Aristocrat, and the second version was the TCR 87. If there was an American made single shot rifle that could give the Ruger #1 a run for its money, it was this one.

It would still be alive today, if the company's upper management paid more attention to what the customer wanted, instead of the bean counter's wanted.

Research i did says they had a poorly designed safety and a clumsy butt stock!
Im going to look at this again today to follow up and perhaps purchase if the price is right!

I thought they were quite handy and would be a good hunting rifle.
I wouldn't buy a break action to hunker down over a bench all the time.

The safety is a little odd, tell the truth I don't quite recall how it works. Press in, it's on safe. You can still pull the set trigger but the hammer won't fall, but switch it off and the single trigger will trip - something like that. I like the buttstock, find nothing wrong with it.

I have the TCR 83 Aristocrat - great wood, set trigger. Bought a few barrels including a TC "parking lot tent sale" special decades back in 6mm PPC. All the barrels shoot well. I'd jump at the chance to get a 22 Hornet barrel.

The 7mm Rem Mag is popular, they (should) go for about $150.00 or so. I have a 416 Remington barrel, doesn't get much use.

One thing to be careful of. The stock attaches to the barrel like a shotgun forend. There should be an "L" shaped hanger attached to the barrel. On some barrels the hanger is held on by two screws, on others it's welded. Make sure the hanger is present. I bought a barrel with one missing, I didn't notice, and a gunsmith had to fabricate the part - they're impossible to find.

Also, earlier models supposedly had an issue with "magnum" calibers and a change was made to the action. I've no idea what the change was, could have been a stronger spring or bolt redesign. Factory refitted rifles are marked with "mag" or "magnum" - I'm not sure because mine isn't. I shoot 7mm RemMag once in a while but the rifle is so damn light I load down. Haven't encountered any problems.

Weaver style bases are pretty easy to find. Folks tend to want an arm & a leg for the turn in or TC bases.

I think a TCR 83 or 87 stocked receiver should go for about $350.00, maybe a tad more for the 83. Depending on the barrel caliber, if it's not unusual, mid-500 for a complete rifle. For two rifle barrels and a shotgun barrel plus the rifle - about $900.00 is a good buy.

Thats exactly what I was going to offer 900, however the gun was sold before I could make my offer.
