Best is subjective. Are you looking for a red dot? a scope?

Some one will be along soon and tell you you need to spend a $1000. on a scope. As far as best I'm not sure there is a best scope. You need to go check them out yourself. I would think a scope anywhere in the $2-400. price range would be fine. There are also to many variables as to what type of scope/red dot you would like.

Not enough info to give a reasonable answer. Are you going to be calling them in and wanting to shoot < 100yds, carrying it in the pick up for a quick shot, or trying to whack them at 400-600 yds, open or wooded terrain?

A good basic 3-9, 4-12, or4.5-14x should get the job done. I would personally choose one from Burris, or Nikon, for this rifle, as it is not a free floating handgaurd, accuracy enhanced model.

On my M4 I have an older Nikon Monarch 3X9X40mm scope. It's mounted high and looks big compare to the M4 but works fine for informal target shooting and hunting. The scope ocular bell crowds the charging handle, so I recommend you also get something like a badger tactical latch - it helps.

Leupold Mark AR in either 1.5x4x20 or 3x9x40.
Attach it with a Burris P.E.P.R mount/rings and you'll be set.

I have a Kahles 1.5x6 on my 5.56x45. I'm not saying you need that brand, but the power range seems to work for both close and distance shooting.

I like Burris and Vortex scopes best at mid-range budget. Nikon and Leupold are great too. I also prefer higher power scopes than the average hunter. Bought one of these: Burris Fullfield E1 Rifle Scope - 6.5x20x50mm Ballistic Plex yesterday for 279.99!

Cut and paste the red text into your search engine to find. Hint, starts wit N and ends with Z.
