Rem. Mod. 12, 22 cal. mfg. date?

The ser# is stamped on the bottom of the receiver at the barrel end and is RW and below this is 175765. Any help determining the mfg. date would be appreciated. Thanks

  Check left side of barrel, just forward of the receiver. Remington used a date code, usually marked there. It consisted of 2 or 3 letters.

  added My dad like his 12. It points down hill for me when I throw it up to my shoulder, however the man sized 121 fits me very nicely and is just a little heavier.

  Thank you both. It would appear to be a 1913 mfg. date with the RW standing for Rem. Works (Mod. 12-A). Interesting little firearm.
