I don't think they resumed making the Super Match after the war. Site below says 194 made in 1946.
In the second place, or maybe should have been in the first place, a Super Match is so marked on the slide. See pictures and info at

Thanks Hawk 1947 I understand that there was standard model and a match model. But not much info how to tell the match model. Any ideas? thanks

super match adjustable rear sight Hand fitted slide & barrel
intodays world by all means get factory letter if factory confirms SUPER MATCH THen You have a pistol worth big BUCKS

Not marked "super" Still a great looking piece. My dad was in WWII and bought it used in the 50's I got it after he passed . My son will get it when I go to the "upper range"
