AR-15
What do you think about buying the Olympic .223 Plinker and then buying the free floating heavy stainless barrel upper for it. Do you think that would be a good investment?

I own a Colt AR-15 in .223.
If I buy an upper in 6.8, it will fit the lower, right?
The magazine will not fit?
thanks0 -
Yes, that is an Eagle Arms.
EDIT 1
If it is an Eagle Arms, it will have the Eagle logo on it, and say Eagle Arms.0 -
could also be essential arms. I have bought and sold a few of these. 0 -
Or European Arms. I have bought their revolvers but don't know if they deal in rifles too. 0 -
Are it's markings raised instead of stamped down into the metal?
What model and manufacturer location does it show?0 -
Eagle Arms say Eagle Arms. More then likely Essential Arms. 0 -
It would probably help to know what else is marked on the receiver. 0 -

This ... Over the years I've had a couple because they were cheap. If its one of the pre(94)-ban receivers, the quality in on par with the early DPMS ... which is to say they were usually out of spec crap. I don't believe they sold any complete guns or if they did the rest of the parts were surplus and of decent quality.0
