    Most all European made guns. Have proof marks reflecting country of origin. If there aren't any of these marks? Either they have been removed, or never had them in the first place.

    No markings could reflect either U.S,, Spanish or South American manufacture.

    I have found a almost identical Flobert pistol. In the 1911 Adolf Frank catalog. Although it has, a Nickel finish and a automatic ejector.

    It's marketed as the "Lord" pistol. Sold under the "Gnom", brand or trade mark?

    Did you look at the frame under the grips ? if not remove the grips you might see some proof marks there.
    That sure looks Belgian made the called them dog pistols.
