Walther P-22 Front Sight
Guys, does anyone know exactly how the front sight on a Walther P-22 is attached. Didn't notice it when I bought the gun, but the white dot on the front sight is pointing toward the muzzle. Some dimwit at Walther installed it backwards. I'd like to spin it 180 and get the dot on the correct side, but I don't want to get rough with it until I have an idea exactly how it is attached. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

They pull out with a pair of pliers, and get pushed back in...or at least that is how my early version was. There were two or three front sights with mine for different heights. 0 -
I have never owned or shot a P-22. But paint all my front sights with Blaze Orange,Neon Paint. It's a little over $2.00, for a plastic 2 oz bottle @ Walmart. Surprisingly durable, but easy to remove with rubbing alcohol. The company that makes it, is called Plaid Enterprises, and it is sold in the hobby dept. 0 -
Page 9 of the manual shows pushing the front sight with a flat blade screwdriver.

Thanks guys, I think I'll try the screwdriver thing. Especially thanks for the link to the owners manual since I didn't get one. 0
