Lefever question
Have no pics of yet, and the shotgun is in a relatives hands back east, but am not curious as to value, but rather correct time frame/manufacturers ID. Gun is purportedly marked an LLH model, in 12 ga, with a serial number of L28xxx. The barrel address is Ithaca NY (sure wish they would get me pics as I know this is poope to go on) and since its Marked Lefever AND Ithaca NY, is this a gun from that time period after Ithaca bought them but was still using existing Lefever stock and making guns in the DM Lefever mold, or is it just an Ithaca? I have gotten conflicting info from all the normal internet searches, and could use any info that might direct me the correct way. Thanks as always for your consideration,

I looked at my Lefever reference books and could not find any reference to LLH grade guns. Robert (Bob) Elliott has two fine reference books on the market. Take some very good pictures, Google him and sent pictures to him for evaluation. 0 -
LLH is the mark of the barrel manfacturer. 0 -
