Scope for 1874 Sharps??

I am kicking around the idea of putting a period correct scope on my Shiloh 74 Sharps 50-90. Sort of getting a case of "old eyes" It would be used mainly for hunting. Who makes such a scope and what does anyone know about the quality. Also how delicate are they as far as staying on 0, I often carry Ol Betsy laying across the saddle in front of me when I am on my mule. It would be fairly well protected but undoubtedly would take a few bumps now and again. Thanks Steve

  i put a 3x malcom on a baby sharps in 44-40 and it was a piece of junk, hard to get zeroed and adjustments were not reliable at all.i opted for a 3/4" unertl that worked well, but soon put the regular sights back on it as it is not a long range rifle. mr myopic.
