I had trouble listening to Johnsons reaction to the phrase illegal immigrant.

OH and his acceptance of socialism as long it is done democratically. I do not accept the Libertarian position that 49.9% must bow to the will of 50.1% when the issues are un- Constitutional .

They really have the best platform of the three. It's unfortunate that the best they can ever hope to do is garner about 8% of the votes in the few states in which they can receive enough signatures to get onto the ballot.

"And look, libertarians agree with socialism as long as it's voluntary. But, when it's forced, that's tyranny."

And comment from the above article:

"While I suspect most libertarians disagree with Johnson on this point, it got me thinking about the fundamental differences between conservatism and libertarianism. For Johnson, socialism is an inferior economic system to free market capitalism, but he would be fine with it if the American population as a whole decided to implement it."

I believe in enumerated powers, and have yet to find Constitutional authorization Federal funding of education, Section eight housing. or even Medicaid just to mention a few. Voluntary or democratically or the ballot box does not make these Constitutional.

Please, please, please don't split the vote. We've been there and done that, in '92. It guaranteed a Clinton in the White House then, and it will guarantee a Clinton in the White House now. If Hillary gets in our gun rights are screwed.

I understand why that causes heartache in some, but the reality is that it is the mode of maximum liberty. Keeping in mind of course that that is not the same as saying that 51% get to pick that the nation goes socialist.

Say what you will about the Johnson/Weld ticket, the two men have voices that are easy to listen to.

Contrasted with Hillary's shrill screaming and Trump's saying "ok" and "believe me" on repeat and other hysterics. It's pretty refreshing, particularly in view of Chocolate Jesus' condescending tone for the last 8 years.
    Voices?.....makes a candidate?.......man, are you groping...[V]

That's what Chavez said, plus just a few "tweeks" to the Venezuelan Constitution. Not much, just to GET IT DONE DEMOCRATICALLY

Watched the Venezuelan crisis unfold, from start to,, almost finished.

    Bernie supporters, take note.

Colombia accepts thousands more refugees. Why ? Who knows but Chavez "deported thousands of Colombians". Turned out he was doing them a favor.
