Way to go UTAH
At least 1 State is correct.
"The Utah Senate on Wednesday called on Congress to repeal the 17th Amendment - so that state senators could again select U.S. senators.
It voted 20-6 to pass SJR2, and sent it to the House. It calls for Congress to repeal the 17th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, which was ratified in 1913 to allow people to directly elect U.S. senators."

Good news for Utah. 0 -
Prior to the 17th State Governors selected Senators to the US Senate. Some States may have required State Senate confirmation.
People still had living memory of the War Between the States back then, and hadn't whored their State Rights in exchange for Federal grants.0 -
Section 3 (U.S. Constitution)
'The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof, for six Years; and each Senator shall have one Vote.'
Prior to the 17th, U.S. Senators were chosen by State Legislatures, not Governors.
1913 was a very bad year for freedom and liberty in this country.0
