I'll vote for someone who advocates for and campaigns upon a platform of smaller, limited government and individual liberty.

Kind of what is noted in some arcane document that once was known as the Constitution of the United States of America.

Only a constitutional adherent would be able to earn my vote. It should go without saying that that categorically excludes Trump.

Trump/Cruz - NO
Cruz/Trump - YES
Tho that combination seems unlikely. If Senator Cruz is not President Cruz I would prefer my Senator stay right where he is. But it would be fun to watch him preside over the Senate.
