I do not understand why the rest of the world puts up with this despicable cult. They have been the source of death and misery since around 600AD. "Islam" actually means "surrender" or "submission" and they take that to mean join or die. Why Israel allows them to have their "dome of the rock" I cannot understand either, since it was originally the site of a Jewish temple destroyed by the heathens.
I see nothing about Islam that should be allowed to survive in this world. Even the so called "peaceful" ones practice cruelty and abuse on their wives and families. And secretly I believe they applaud most of the actions of the "radical" azzhole murderers.

From what I have read and that is to include the Koran. It is no more violent than the Bible has against none believers.
But where these wacko's(radicals) come from is their religious leaders. They have their own believes and it is does not always follow the Koran.

To the OP: Your question itself implies that anyone who 'dislikes' Muslims has not taken the time to understand their beliefs. You base that implication on what? That those who aren't fans of Muslims hold a different opinion than your's, and are therefore wrong?
On that note, screw you. The easiest thing to understand about Muslims is that Islam is not a religion, it is a political ideology based on conquest masquerading as a religion.
Next on the list is that their behavior comports with the writings of the original goat buggerer, but they regularly deny that the writings say what they say.
There is also the ever present nonsense about the radical Muslims vs the moderate Muslims. In actual practice we see that the radical Muslims want to kill us. The moderate Muslims want the radical Muslims to kill us.

I think people who "dislike" Muslims completely feel justified, and to that end, they must have a basis for their thoughts. As long as they can articulate those thoughts, I have no problem with someone who hates. Even if those thoughts to my mind are not well "thought out".
While I may disagree, anyone can think anything they want--two people can look at the same passage, or photo, or situation, and have three different opinions about it. That's not for me to say is right or wrong.
I have my own opinion. I understand (in my mind) that the animals who attacked the WTC and are trying to form an "Islamic State" are not adherents of the religion (or cult, or whatever you want to call it) that over a billion human beings adhere to. However, they certainly are getting the press. My mission (and livelihood) is to stop them. No matter what their rationale, nor their so-called "religion". I don't care why they do what they do, only that they want to do it.
However, "Muslims" who just want to live their own lives, I have no problem with. Are there some of these? Yes, in my opinion, the majority are. But if people don't agree with that, then that's their opinion and they are welcome to it. It's unfortunate there is so much hatred, however. Even the terrorists I target I don't "hate".0 -
Another of the famous claims: those who state they are Muslims fighting for an Islamic state are somehow declared to NOT be Muslims by folks trying to advance the facade of The Peaceful Muslim Majority.

He simply asked if those of you who dislike Muslims have ever taken the time to legitimately research it. After doing so, you will probably still dislike them, or even hate them worse. But, it will be from a position of knowledge.
To answer the OP's question, yes, I have read up on the history of Islam and the break between the Shiites and the Sunnis. Having done so, I still willingly work to support our combat operations against them.0 -

Sorry, I'm not a very religious man. Who wrote the Old Testament? Then who wrote the New Testament? Which is correct? Does the New Testament supercede the Old Testament?

I would guess like every other religion their are about a zillion ways to interpret it.
I don't fault anyone's right to their religious beliefs.
HOWEVER when your interpretation of your religion implies that I have to comply with it, believe in it or be impacted, damaged, slaughtered because of it then screw your religion and your right to practice it.0
