Trumps VP pick?
I think Trump should have Chuck Norris as his #1 VP pick. [:D]

last week, a local talk show host said that as conservatives we didn't have a choice this time around. I wanted to call in but like "others" he actually thought we had a conservative "choice" since the 1st Bush. 2 of them, a Dole, McCain, and Romney?
yep, now that there's a real conservative bunch. I held my nose and voted for those asshats. those freakn RINO's appeared conservative to get that vote.
so we are "stupid" to vote for trump? least I know he's not pretending conservatism, appearing to be a RINO so maybe he won't be as much a RINO as he appears once in office.
he might just be trying to fool the left into voting for him and then turn more right once elected. who knows?
we thought we were getting conservatives with the other guys and got screwed.
I thought they all pledged in the first debate to not run third party and to support the eventual nominee and look who's going back on their pledge. cruz, bush, rubio, kasich.
talk about flip flops. shows a lot about their character doesn't it?
so trumps character is in question? he's a greedy capitalist. that's all the change from the "usual politician" (who's word is useless) that I need.
ben and huck have kept the pledge - that's character.
by staying home (or voting 3rd party) and helping Hill to the WH ......well that'll show em.
when you have to turn in weapons and hi-cap mags you can tell the guy behind the desk you showed those trump supporters. that'll make ya feel much better.0 -
Jimmy Carter. He's got the same qualifications as Trump: establishment republicans and democrats both hate him. 0 -

From what I recall hearing from "Political Strategist" is that in the primaries GOP candidates move to the Right and Democrat Candidates move Left. Then in the General they both move toward the center.
Now with the GOP calls for unity and "anyone but Hillary". Would it not make more sense to chose a VP that may in fact attract more Democrats than Republicans he may lose.
I applaud Senator Cruz for announcing his VP during the primaries. I have thought for several cycles now the candidates should put the entire package on the table for the voters. But I understand not doing it so they can reserve the deal making if necessary for the convention.
It will be interesting to watch the political migration of both parties nominees after their conventions. Will they pass each other on their shift to the center, of at least collide.0 -
Rice might be the smart pick but she lacks "charisma".
John Bolton would be tough enough for V.P. He would also make a great Secretary of State,, has the experience..
