Ten days before Indiana's primary, Cruz and Kasich announced a potential game-changer: Kasich would skip Indiana to let Cruz have a one-on-one shot at Trump there; Cruz in turn would stay out of Oregon and New Mexico.

I will make a wild guess within 1 month Trump will ask Paul Ryan if he wants to run with him as VP.

Voting for Gary Johnson is as useful as writing in Wulfmann for president.

The only benefit it will have is a big thank you from Hillary Clinton and will help eliminate the second amendment from the USA.
    Thanks guys

The author will need time to ponder. Ted would be a good choice for SCJ.

Blame yourselves for supporting Trump...I am not voting for the repugnant POS just because a bunch of morons want to destroy this country. Trump supporters created this election day catastrophe.

The establishment officially caved to public pressure. I wonder what evils the old Graham and Nikki Hailey types are plotting now.

I sent a message to one of the local tv stations so they might interview the gov. for her thoughts on who she supported quit.

Cruz displayed a lack of temperament for the job over the past week or so, and when faced with the near certainty that Trump would hit a majority of delegates on the first vote, did the right thing and quit.

Oddly his lack of temperament was similar to the lack of temperament displayed by Rubio before his exit, and both were still of better temperament than the man to whom they lost.

I was a Cruz supporter until it became apparent that he, while working within the rules, would stretch them in ways that were designed to mislead the voters. Whether it was him personally or those he hired, it reflected upon how he would act and/or the quality and integrity of those he would hire or appoint if POTUS.

His knowledge of and documented actions supporting the U.S. Constitution did put him in a league far and away superior to Trump, but his personal issues and pettiness seem to be almost as unacceptable as are Tump's, so his exit is not a great loss. One would have hoped that a Constitutionalist in the mix would have moved the discussion towards Constitutional governance, but obviously we the people really don't care about that anymore.

Trump would probably be a better President than Clinton - kind of a toss up. If elected, I would hope he realizes that game time is over and that he has not just taken on a new job, but a real responsibility not just to the current cause of the day, but to the historical underpinnings of our Republic.

Added: You do know that there is a movement going on now by the democrats to remove the Confederate flag from the Citadel, but since it is an election year the cowardly republicans voted against doing it due to the rage these sorry pukes like Graham and Hailey created against southerners and their heritage with the last two flag issues in SC. What a bunch of two faced wimps. The old SC racist representative Clyburn is the political puppet scum on point for this initiative.
