Texas: Trump or Cruz
They are reporting that Cruz is picked to win Texas over Trump, but I spoke with three friends and a family member there and three of the four are voting for Trump.

Sorry to disappoint. Patently, Cruz has the best understanding of the constitution and how it governs the federal offices it creates. None of the other candidates have similar views or understanding of it, as is demonstrated daily if not hourly in their speeches and actions.
Cruz has, by far, the best voting and legislative record on guns and gun rights. So, assuming folks on this board put any value on those rights, Cruz is the logical candidate to support from that standpoint. Considering there are efforts every day to erode the 2nd Amendment, it's rather mind boggling that folks on a gun forum would be willing to support any other Presidential candidate. One would have to look to perhaps the Libertarian party or the Constitution party to find another candidate with as clear a record on guns, gun ownership and 2nd amendment rights as Cruz. [:I]0 -

Your comments are not those I found so lacking in thought, rationality, depth, maturity....
I find little to disagree with in what you have said about Cruz. For years the conservative segment of the electorate has yearned for a real, rock solid conservative. Principled, articulate, educated, willing to fight. We finally get such a candidate, and we have a crapload of people supporting a reality TV star with principles and positions that change more than my TV channels when my son has the remote.
