Teddy was a heck of a guy but he was a progressive.

We need a conservative to protect this country by balancing the budget and getting control of spending.

    prone to exaggeration.

sound familiar? these were all comments laid at Theodore Roosevelt upon him becoming a candidate for President.

Different ballgame. Teddy was a veteran and hero of San Juan Hill. A much better person.

I'm not endorsing anyone, I just thought the parallels were interesting, 100 yrs apart to an outsider

Better research the "hero" part a little better.
More like reckless glory seeker that got a lot of solders killed due to his lack of skill & tactics.

Congress already did it for me. Maybe YOU should learn a little history?

I wouldn't say that TR was a very good president by any stretch. He and Trump seem to have similar opinions on eminent domain.

Kind of like that Mass-hole that got his PT boat rammed by a Japanese destroyer is a hero (you know, the one from a rum runner family who's drunken brother leaves his date to drown
