he's the only one paying for his own campaign, while the rest of them suck money out of the system and use OP's money or bank loans, they never have to pay back.
the current crop of kids getting out of high school locally here are having 2nd thoughts about joining the US armed forces, because of the lying, cheating, villainous, scoundrels we have in office today, such as Obama, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton. Who wants to join the Army and take orders from Obama, while he takes away US citizens' gun rights ? parents are advising kids NOT to join until after the election, in the hopes Trump will win.
he will restore decency and respect to the office. if he doesn't win, there's going to be an outflux of people to Alaska, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. America won't be worth living in anymore, 8 years of Hillary would enslave us all, we'll end up a modern version of Nazi Germany.
Trump is a modern day Washington or Lincoln. people are just too distracted or stupid to realize it. He could live the rest of his life enjoying his billions $$ in the lap of luxury- instead he is running for office, spending millions $$, to make this country better and restore it for our kids and grandkids.
Obama did a hit number on the USA, defiled it, and is laughing about it now, that he screwed us all, and got over on "whitey" for some age old racial grudge. Trump realizes this and wants to set things straight.

I like the idea of what an outsider like Trump might be able to bring to Washington, but at the same time, I like what a friend of mine said about Cruz seeming to have the moral ascendancy that might help him to be president. That, and his attempts to keep company with Reagan is admirable. 0 -

The value of money is important to most sane people, but in the case of Mister Trump I don't think the value of money is the root of the importance of money to him. I think to Donald Trump, money is the scoreboard. If he can accumulate more money than anybody else in the world, he must be the most important man in the world. The Presidency is an even more powerful scoreboard than money. If he can be the President of the United States and the richest man in the world at the same time that will make him better than anybody else in the world, including his father. I believe the man is sane, but I think he has some very deep seeded personality defects. Not to mention I think he's still a democrat at heart.0 -

I actually think he is a republican at heart but has been a closet democrat so that he can benefit himself in a democrat ruled city. I like your scoreboard analogy and I think you are on to something there.
I don't think he is lying to reporters now because there is no way to be a closet democrat and answer question after question without tripping up. If you tell the truth, there is nothing to worry about because you don't need to remember your lies. Until I see him start to get caught in some twisted lies, I'm giving him the benefit.
I have a few friends like him and they have a "short man syndrome". It's the same as your scoreboard analogy and they really have something to prove! Trump has some sort of this syndrome. He is not stupid, but he is too quick to pop off! If he doesn't get this under control I think he will implode. But it got him this far.0 -

I believe Trump would absolutely accept every taxpayer-funded perk that comes with the presidency. He did not become wealthy by looking a gift horse in the mouth.0 -
