Who Is the Bernie Sanders Voter?

No doubt he could not tell you who the Vice President is or how a bill gets through Congress, and thinks Saul Alinsky is a MLB pitcher.

I heard an interview with a self identified Trump supporter in SC and he said if Trump doesn't get the nomination and Bernie does, he is going to vote for Bernie. That doesn't surprise me one bit.

We could profile suspended drivers by their Bernie stickers. [;)]

It ain't me... But, given the choice between Billary and Sanders...
You take a guess which way I'd swing.

I'd never vote democrat, but if Sean Hannity is even half right, 95 million Americans unemployed is incredibly sad.

Your nephew is what I consider a "wigger" is.

This kid hasn't had a job in 5 months. He is 29 years old. He is "crashing" at the apartment in my brother's barn, otherwise would not have a roof over his head.
He has 3 children that he can't support, they live far away with their mother and are on government asistance, and he is on food stamps.
He couldn't keep up with costs for his Iphone so he was bragging to my brother yesterday he got a free cell phone from the government, and he calls it his "Obamaphone."

The socialist voter described above, simply wants to maintain his current lifestyle with as little effort as possible.

Sorry Allen but your nephew is a looser and your brother is not helping him at all.

Hopefully with his license suspended he will not be able to get to the polls and vote.

This is another clear case for "voting right eligibility" rules.

The description of your nephew, Allen, is of the prototypical democrat 'young voter'.

    Useless and clueless.

I'm not arguing the point that Allen's nephew is not pulling his weight and needs a kick in the pants. Certainly does.

As a guy with a brother who is in some ways similar to Allen's nephew, I do have some sympathy for Allen's brother.

I know every single argument and I acknowledge the validity of them all: the help actually hurts, it's a long-term pattern of behavior and not a temporary aberration, some people need to hit bottom, etc., etc.

At the same time, it's your brother.

I understand. It took me a long time and really hurt my Dad but I cut ties with my brother a few years ago.

Fellow I work with, nicest guy you'll ever meet, hasn't spoken to his brother in 20 years. Doesn't even know if he's alive or dead.

I know eventually I will be headed down that path with my brother. Saddens me terribly.

Yeah, it saddens you with your brother. It is not as bad, but it saddens me with my nephew. I wish all the best for this kid and wish I could be proud of him, but, he is a POS and I want nothing to do with him.

I haven't told y'all the half of this kid. Two years ago, he bought 250 hits of LSD and went to sell the acid at a music festival in Asheville.
On that weekend he was babysitting his 3 children, aged 8, 5, and 3 years old.
Naturally, he sold LSD to a narc and got busted. He was charged with felony drug charges, also 3 charges of child endangerment.
But, the State of NC sent the dope to the crime lab, and it tested negative, it was in fact baby aspirin. The dumb ass is too screwed up to even make a good drug buy, the fact that he made a bad drug buy is what kept him out of the State Pen for 3 years.

Give me minute I will post his arrest report here, his pic got deleted since charges were dropped.

OK here is his arrest report on the LSD bust. Name has been deleted to protect the guilty:

Wonder how many conservatives voted for Sanders to de-rail the Clinton machine. If Hillary collapses there will be a health issue with Bill that will require her to withdraw her campaign just in time for uncle Joe to step in with the cancer sympathy vote.

  • allen griggs
You are right, Uncle Joe is milking the "cancer" sympathy vote.
He is another scheming politician, claiming 3 months ago that he was too upset over the death of his boy to run. What BS!
He is a political animal and would give his left arm to be President.
He wasn't grieving over his son, he ran the numbers and decided that Hillary was unbeatable.
Uncle Joe has got to be kicking himself in the ass as he sees how well the Commie Bernie has done. Look, a Commie is not getting elected, at least not this year. The strong showing of Sanders shows just what a flawed candidate Hillary is.
Uncle Joe is kicking himself in the ass. Hell 3 months ago, it was Hillary 50 percent, Bernie 25 percent and Joe 20 percent, and Joe wasn't even running!

Very good chance Joe would be on top in the run for President had he had the keen political instinct to get into the race 3 months ago.
All is not over because if Hillary is indicted, the Dem machine will turn to Joe, they are well aware that Bernie is even more flawed than Hillary.

I still think the Clinton weasels will lie and withdraw rather than face rejection by the voters. That way she will claim a moral high ground with Bill's faked illness. I only expect more of what she has delivered in the past. Lies, Lies .Lies

Is that the same nephew that was going to walk the Appalachian trail ?

  • allen griggs
Junkballer you have a good memory.
That was my other nephew, this kid's brother, who was going to hike the Appalachian Trail.
That kid was 29 years old, had been crashing at his mom's house for 6 years eating chips and pork chops, unemployed and weighed 420 pounds.

He did hike the trail, lasted 35 minutes and called his mommy to come pick him up, he could barely hike back to the start of the trail where she had dropped him off.
But, miracles do happen! He went down and got a CDL, and went on the road for Schneider. I didn't think he would make it but he did. He has been driving for 2 years now, he is knocking off about 80K annually and has no car or housing expenses, he stays out on the road for 3 months at a time. So he is packing lots of money into the bank and he is talking about buying a house.

    Miracles do happen.

I thought they were all living with/off their parents? Lotta 30 somethings (and their kids) living at home with mom and dad.

    Not all 35 or under...

I believe that I was raised right and I'm only 34. If we as a country don't get back to the Constitution, we are doomed.

    To answer the OP's question....

I think that they are the ones that are part of the "participation trophy" club. They have been given everything and have yet to work for anything!

With the perspective that comes with old age, I now know that the best way to handle problem relatives is to show them love & sympathy, not cut them off. I have seen many young people who appear to be TSTL (Too Stupid To Live) experience the realities of life, & make a remarkable transformation to a responsible, mature, adult.

It may take a long time, & it may never happen, but keep the lines of communications open. Just don't subsidize a lifestyle that you believe is wrong.

I like a good success story [;)], many minds have been changed by the trail too so don't hold that against him, at least he tried [:)] which is good.
